Green Energy Mozambique (Industrial Park, Sofala Province)

The Green Energy Mozambique Industrial Park is a transformative US$3 billion investment designed to accelerate Mozambique’s industrialization through renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing. Located in Sofala Province, between the districts of Dondo and Muanza, the project is led by international investors in partnership with the Government of Mozambique.

The park will integrate clean energy solutions to power large-scale production of aluminum, steel, cement, batteries, and solar panels, positioning Mozambique as a regional hub for green industry and value-added exports. Once fully operational, it is expected to create over 10,000 direct jobs and stimulate local supply chains and infrastructure.

Strategically aligned with Mozambique’s national industrialization plan, the project includes the development of energy generation facilities, transport corridors, and a dedicated port terminal, supporting both domestic growth and export potential.

The Green Energy Mozambique Industrial Park represents a key step toward a sustainable, diversified, and globally competitive economy, demonstrating the country’s commitment to clean energy transition and industrial innovation.
